Phil Kettle and Felice Arena

Felice Arena grew up in the small country town of Kyabram and later went on to study at La Trobe University in Bendigo, Victoria. After graduating as a qualified primary school teacher, he decided to pursue his love of acting and writing.

Among other things, he played Marco Alessi in Neighbours for a year; starred on the London West End in various musicals, presented children's TV and appeared in numerous television dramas and commercials.

An accomplished writer Felice is also the best selling author of the very popular Specky Magee books (co-written with Garry Lyon). His other titles include: Dolphin Boy Blue (shortlisted for the Lancashire Book Award, UK), Mission Buffalo, Wish (shortlisted for the West Australian Young Readers Award 2000/2001), Bravo Billy!, Breakaway John and of course, the Boyz Rule Series.

Phil Kettle is a proud father of three children, Joel , Ryan and Shey. Phil originally comes from the small town of Cardross in Northern Victoria. He now lives in the inner suburbs of Melbourne.

He is the creator and author of the very successful book series TOOCOOL.

Phil is a very popular speaker on the school speaking circuit, where his talks are aimed at exciting children, particularly boys about the joys of reading and books.
